課程概述與目標(Course Overview and Goals):Goals:
The primary goals of this course are three: to help participants to (1) gain in-depth understanding of issues and guidelines important to the work of tour guides and interpreters, (2) develop basic skills in giving guided tours, and (3) obtain knowledge and information of local cultural and touring hot spots.

Objectives:
Upon finishing the course, participants should be able to
1. describe and/or explain important issues and guidelines related to the work of tour guides, interpreters, and docents,
2. describe and/or explain basic docent and tour guide techniques and skills,
3. give information of some of the cultural and touring hot spots in Taiwan,
4. conduct presentations on selected touring spots,
5. give constructive/critical feedback/comment to presentations and guided tours.
