課程概述與目標 Course Overview and Goals: Encountering with the converging trend of increasing globalization, a transnational company has to persistently and energetically strive to gain the potential benefits from exploiting international markets expansion and resources dispersed in the world. Nevertheless, the company entails various challenges from diversified, complex, and unpredictable international environments. This course intends to cultivate and train students with international views and agile capabilities.
As for the course content, four main topic areas are covered in this course, namely: introduction to international business management, globalization and international management strategy, strategy implementation, and careers in international business. In particular, this course emphasizes the examinations on the behaviors of transnational companies and comparative management among countries from an international entrepreneur’s viewpoint.
