課程概述與目標(Course Overview and Goals):Circular economy aims to help to build a substantiable world. Circular design is by tackling the transition from our linear ‘take-make-waste’ economy to a circular economy. With circular design tools or methods, it could help to develop products and services in a way to create sustainable product/ process.
This course starts with two introductory modules that explain the basic of circular economy and circular design. Then are the essential topics of basic knowledge of System thinking, co-creation, policies, life cycle assessment, concept of cradle to cradle etc.
Aim:
This course is to encourage designer to rethink the role of design and its value for the transition towards a circular economy.
