課程概述與目標(Course Overview and Goals):課程將介紹無線網路技術及它們對應產品,從基本的802.11標準入門,再進階到先進的WiFi 5、WiFi 6路由設計及最新的WiFi 7技術,路由器近年來發展迅速的無線網狀網路功能也是重點。本課程還會強調一些產業實用的科技,如網路時間同步、及自動配置伺服器、及網路安全等。如此,學生可以有深入的無線知識進行實用的研究計畫,產業經驗的分享也能幫助學生建立解決問題的能力,以面對未來工作的挑戰,保持職場上競爭力。
This course will introduce advanced wireless network technologies and their corresponding products. Besides the basic 802.11, the advanced WiFi 5, WiFi 6, and WiFi 7 will be covered. The mesh networking for home coverage is very important for home router and it is an important topic as well. This course will emphasize some practical technologies of industry, like network time synchronization, TR069 ACS, and network security. In this course, students will learn practical wireless network knowledge for further research programs. I will also share my industry experiences to help students with abilities resolving challenges in their future jobs.
