課程概述與目標(Course Overview and Goals):This course aims at helping students develop the necessary skills to do well on the TOEIC Listening test. The key listening skills and testing strategies will be introduced on the course. Additional goals of the class are to facilitate the improvement of students’ pronunciation and intonation skills, and to develop their understanding of use of English.

• Prepositions and Location Phrases
• Trap Avoidance
• Identify the number of people, the setting, and the main activity.
• Concentrate on what people are doing, not just what objects are present.
• Listen carefully for be + V-ing vs. be + V-ed.
• Pay attention to on, under, next to, behind, etc.
• Eliminate choices that mention visible items but describe incorrect actions.
