課程概述與目標(Course Overview and Goals):【Decoding the Silver Tsunami (Ⅰ)】
The aim of this unit is to raise the issue of a rapidly growing ageing population that has a huge impact on our society. It is essential for students to rethink the life of older people as they will get old one day. By the end of this unit, students will be able to explore how an ageing society affects our everyday lives, even for younger generations. In addition, the students will explore how mobile technologies play an important role in older adults’ life and what motivates older people to learn to use smartphones. Students may get inspiration from older people becoming active learners since it is never too late to learn.
