課程概述與目標(Course Overview and Goals):Overview: This course is one of the courses taught entirely in English and is conducted in the form of lectures.
Lecture: Dr. Ralph Foehr
Machine vision technology has a wide range of industrial applications. For example, the manufacturing industry applies it to inspection machines of sensing instruments (such as autofocus cameras or sensors), which can detect product defects, judge and select objects, measure volume and size, etc.
Objective: Principles, basic technologies, and applications of machine vision. The goal is to allow students to understand the needs of machine vision technology and its current application in industry. The course content includes hardware components, basic technology, pattern matching, defect detection, optical character recognition, two-dimensional measurement, stereo vision, spatial measurement, and the correlation between technology application and the development of Industry 4.0.
