| 課程概述與目標(Course Overview and Goals)：This course aims to provide opportunities for students to build fluency, clarity, and confidence through discussions, activities, and participation in formal and informal conversation topics. vocabulary, and grammar. Themes to be covered include: family, movies, sports, YouTube, short story discussions, animals, and food. On the surface these topics appear easy, however the content and discussions are aimed to show a deeper understanding of the topics and being able to apply various thinking and reasoning skills into communicating ideas that are delivered clearly and concisely. Each class will consist of discussions, group tasks, partner activities and individual reflections that will help you develop communication skills. Group discussions will play a significant role in brainstorming ideas and then organizing said thoughts into a presentable model. Your progress and learning rely on your willingness to participate, share your opinions in a respectful manner, and the effort you put into improving your skills. |
