課程概述與目標(Course Overview and Goals)：This is a project-based course aiming at equipping students’ skills for working as the English touring staff at Taipei Biennale. This course is focused on developing students’ specific touring skills at museum spaces in English. In order to enrich students’ first hand experiences and related training, the course contents will be based on the 2020 Taipei Biennale and collaborate with TFAM to familiarize students with the curatorial concepts, artists and artwork of the Biennale. There are three main parts of this course: 1. Basic background knowledge of the biennale systems and the history of Taipei Biennale; 2. Professional training from English tour guides who work for TFAM; 3. Participating in the related lectures organized by TFAM. Besides active peer discussions and sharing personal opinions, working on site at the museum plays a significant role in this class.
