課程概述與目標(Course Overview and Goals)：Welcome to this EMI course, where English will be the medium of instruction throughout the semester. This course is designed to provide students with a broad understanding of the development of Western literature, with a particular emphasis on the origins of Western literary traditions and civilization. We will embark on an exploration of the Bible, which constitutes a cornerstone of Western literary heritage. Students will engage with the stories from the Bible through lecture and oral presentations. By the end of the course, students will not only gain insight into the Bible that have shaped Western literature but also develop a foundational understanding of literary analysis and presentation techniques.
